Is there a minimum amount of cards I can order?
Yes. All orders have a 25 card minimum.
I like this design but want to make a few changes. Can you customize it for me?
Yes! All designs, colors, and fonts are customizable. I can even work with you to create a one-of-a kind card, if desired. Just let me know you would like to customize a card when you order.
What about twins/triplets or adoption? Can you customize for that too?
Definitely (see previous). All designs can be modified to accommodate twins/adoption.
Can you make birthday/baptism/bar mitzvah invitations?
All our designs can be altered to make invitations for any occasion.
Do the cards come with envelopes?
Yes. All orders come with white square-flap envelopes.
How long does it take to get my cards?
Once we have your information and photos, you will receive a digital proof usually within 48 hours. After approval, it will take about 5 to 7 business days to arrive for Photo Cards, and 7 to 10 business days for Press-Printed Cards. Orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail with delivery confirmation. We are not responsible for lost or damaged shipments.
I need my cards right away. Is there a Rush Order option?
Rush orders are available for an extra fee. Please email us for a quote. You may want to consider the "Design Only" option.
What kind of payments do you accept?
We use PayPal for payment, which accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and PayPal funds. You do not have to have a PayPal account to use it.
What kind of picture should I use?
Original color digital photo files are best; the bigger the file size, the better. File size must be at least 1200 x 1800 pixels in size, with a recommended dpi (dots per inch) of 300. We will make any color adjustments for you. Please see the Photo Requirements page for more information about photos.
Do I need to edit the photo first before sending to you?
NO. We will make any necessary adjustments for you, including light retouching (if desired) and cropping out unwanted areas. We also offer a Color Select option, where only one or two colored areas are highlighted in a photo for dramatic effect. For more on this, see the about us page.
How do I send a digital photo?
Photos can be emailed as attachments. After we receive your order, we will send you an email requesting your card information and photos. We will always let you know when we receive your photo.
The photo I want to use is printed, not digital. How do I send it to you?
The best way is to scan the photo yourself and then email it to us. If you have access to a scanner, scan your photo at 300 dpi and save it as a .jpg file. If you do not have access to a scanner, or feel more comfortable having us do it for you, let us know and we will email you with our mailing address and you can mail it to us. Your original photo will be returned with your final order. We are not responsible for lost or damaged photos!
Can I send you a picture from the photo CD I got from my photo lab?
Most photo CDs given out by photo labs are low in quality and unsuitable for use with our cards.
Can I use a professionally taken photograph?
Yes. Please note, however, that use of professional photographs from a studio or photographer requires a signed release from the studio/photographer first before we will be able to copy, reproduce, or use the photo in any of our designs. A Copyright Release Form can be copied from here.
Do the cards require extra postage?
No. All our announcements/invitations require the standard stamp postage.
I am not in the United States. Can I still order announcements?
Yes. Send us an e-mail at info@preciouspostmarks.com for a shipping quote.
What if I want to order more cards later?
We keep all designs on disk in the event you need more.
Can I get my announcement/invitation in another language besides English?
Yes. Let us know what language you want when you order, and you must provide us with a copy of all the announcement text in that language.
Can I cancel my order?
Completed orders are non-refundable. You can cancel up to the proof approval stage with no penalty, but once the proof is approved and sent to print, your order cannot be cancelled.
